For patient handling, Glide Sheets are devices that facilitate the translation of a patient lying in bed, thus limiting the risk of back pain and musculoskeletal disorders for caregivers.
Manual patient transfers are an integral part of the working day for nursing staff.
The gliding effect facilitates the work of nursing staff by reducing friction caused by the patient’s weight during handling.
It consists of a polyester tube made of synthetic fabric (polyamide with silicone-treated polyurethane coating), with the two sides of the fabric in contact sliding over each other.
