RV CONFORT mattresses are air and special viscoelastic foam mattresses.
They are equipped with a double-sided cover and a non-return valve, allowing them to be used in 3 different ways:
1. Like a viscoelastic mattress (air underneath, with the cells facing the base and the patient, viscoelastic foam on a rigid base), with the possibility of periodically adjusting the quantity of air with the compressor, thus compensating for the phenomenon of settling and also being able to adjust the support according to the morphology and comfort of the patient, which is impossible with a conventional viscoelastic mattress.
2. Like a conventional motorized air mattress, by simply turning it over after use, as with a viscoelastic mattress permanently coupled to the compressor in dynamic mode.
3. Like a conventional motorized air mattress (2), but with the special viscoelastic foam passing over the cells, making the mattress much more comfortable and increasing pressure distribution, without limiting the therapeutic effect of the dynamic mattress.
The first mattress, the NAUSIFLOW 2-85 COMPACT RV CONFORT, has a total height of 14 cm and an effective width of 85 cm.
The second, NAUSIFLOW 2-90 RV CONFORT, has a total height of 16 cm and a useful width of 90 cm.

PREVENTION
The first step in preventing bed sores is to change the body’s support points, on average every three hours, to limit overly prolonged compression of the vessels opposite bone protrusions and to allow tissue irrigation.
